i wanted to be good at public speaking and since we worked from home, had the chance to participate in a lot of online events which helped me shed my social anxiety and get better at presentation and communication skills. would not have been able to do that if I were going to the office.

A very important skill which I acquired is time management.

Having got stuck in this never-ending loop of work from home and taking care of family needs, I realised how important is my time.

I was literally able to avoid cell phone scroll addiction and have invested that time in my family.

I could see my productivity had shoot up as my aim is to complete my work and spend time with my family.

I write poetry because poetry is the thing that relaxes me. Poetry requires strength and courage because it is a sincere painting of us and our surroundings in words. I want to gain these values and practice them by writing everyday, because I firmly believe that expressing feelings into words also has the power to heal the body and the soul.

A poet stands for all the passions of the human race. And I strongly feel that the practice of poets is one of the most honourable professions in the world along with those of doctors and teachers. Because they are also similarly involved in making the world a better place .

Gardening, I tried for the first time, growing plants in pots, never thought before the lockdown. Using new types of flour because the plain one was always out of stock. I enjoy sewing from recycled fabrics and clothes, especially face masks and lounge clothes.
