Product Management: It deals with what product you are building, why you are building to whom you are building. It deals with how can you build something that meets business objectives.
Project Management: Here you are dealing with When do I deliver what I set out to build. It takes into account the various stake holders, the project costs, delivery schedules, resource availability and ensure that the project is delivered on time and in budget.

A project management will focus on every product create in an organisation while a product management is creating a full fledged product from beginning to end
